DIRECT US, O God, in all our doings with your most gracious favor, and aid us with your continual help: that in all our works begun, continued, and ended in you, we may glorify your holy name, and at last by your mercy attain everlasting life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

ALMIGHTY and everlasting God, who does govern all things in heaven and on earth: mercifully hear the prayers and supplications of your people, and grant unto the Church all things that are needful for her spiritual and temporal welfare. Strengthen and confirm the faithful; visit and relieve the sick; turn and soften the wicked; rouse the careless; raise the fallen; restore the penitent; remove all hindrances to the advancement of your Truth, and bring all to be of one heart and one soul within the fold of your Holy Church; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, ever One God, world without end.
