On Monday, Feb 1 at 7:30pm, we will observe the Vespers of the Presentation of Our Lord in the Temple. This holy feast day marks the 40th day after Christmas, the dedication of Jesus as Mary's firstborn son, Mary's ritual purification, and the prophecy of St. Simeon that Christ would be "a light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of God's people, Israel."
